I figured the occasional post sans music might be warranted should the appropriate content make it self known. So, there I am enjoying my coffee at the Hutch in Seattle (they actually enforce no food/drink in the lab) and perusing The Scientist magazine, when behold our two word moniker, music science. Digression: Ale for better or worse this is true for you too, at least until we graduate. The founder of Guerilla Science, also despondent about a future in academia, decided to to capitalize on the growing hipster furor over science. The rest is the stuff of our dreams:

I do think a dose of scientific earnestness would be lovely at south by southwest. What is less hipster than actually believing in something? I'll begin preparing a presentation.
