Democracy beats Record Store Day, but not by much.

Parkour here, exhausted but happy from a week of fighting for democracy all across the country. Big thanks to Safety Rat for holding down the fort, and for giving us a Swayze related post... those are always good.

While I didn't get to enjoy Record Store Day in person, I have been able to listen to a couple of released singles. My favorite so far comes from the mind of Marco Benevento, who met up with Kalmia Traver, lead singer of Rubblebucket, and Andrew Barr of The Barr Brothers, both Last Choice picks and friends of the blog (see here and here).

The song is titled "This is how it goes" and has a nostalgic, summery vibe full of synthy goodness. Enjoy!
